When singles think about the top Las Vegas parties, they usually think of the nightclubs and bars. Yet the nightlife is not the only place where a person can get drunk, mingle, and listen to the latest music. Dayclub pool parties are all the rage as the warm climate of Nevada allows for most pools to open around March and April. So when the snow grips the rest of the country, singles can seek their entertainment at the nearest pool.
Types of Pool Parties
Not every pool party is the right entertainment for everyone. Some people may not mind being at the topless pools as they get a great tan. Other people may desire a Las Vegas party with a quieter setting. Most resorts will, of course, have pool parties designed only for their guests, such as the Sunset Pool located at the Wynn Las Vegas. Other resorts are paid admission for pool party hoppers, as rates at the Mirage’s Bare can cost $10 for women and $20 for men, while the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino can change women $10 and men $50 to party at the Moorea Beach Club pool, just depending on what’s happening in Las Vegas at the time.
There are also pool parties that are strictly for the 21-and-over crowd. It’s understandable as the parties can get so wild that it simply is no place for children. Rehab Las Vegas party at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is so wild that people will stand in line to pay $50 (for women) and $100 (for men) to get into the pool at times. There may be just as much beer as there are people in the water, while singles enjoy club tunes.
Celebrity Pool Sightings
While enjoying the sand and the cool waters, people have been able to spot all sorts of celebrities that come to enjoy the poolside drinks or even spin the music for the guests. The Ditch Fridays at the Palms Casino Resort may occasionally have celebrity DJs spinning. Sightings of Michael Jordan, Heidi Klum and Jay-Z have happened at the Tao Beach Club, offered at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
When it comes to pool parties, it is ideal for people to just find a babysitter for the kids or take them to a more suitable water park. Then they can later go to these pools where the party atmosphere can get just as hot and heavy as any nightclub scene.
