What to Wear in Vegas in Fall
Get ready to dress for Fall Vegas-Style
Fall is one of the best times of the year to visit Vegas. The harsh summer heat has passed, but you still have plenty of sunshine, daylight hours, and there’s only a slim chance of rain.
Your packing list for Vegas will probably look a little different than any other trip. You’re about to experience the thrills & spills of The Strip, the clubs, and the shows. But what will you wear?
Vegas is one of those destinations where you can wear bold, flashy, daring clothing. There’s no such thing as over-the-top in Vegas. So now’s the perfect time to break out your fall boots and splurge on a little something special!

How Hot is Vegas During Fall?
The weather in Vegas in October is nearly perfect. The average high is 77° to 84° during the day during October, and in November, it drops down to a comfortable 66° average.
Most Vegas activities like nightclubs, bars, restaurants are indoors, so you don’t want to haul around too many things with you. Plus, you’ll be going from a limo to indoors with little exposure to the outdoors. The goal is to stay trendy while still being comfy.
Just a little reminder that Vegas pools close in October, so now is the time to make those day club reservations and wear your cutest suit before the season ends.

What to Wear During the Day
Since pool hopping is out of the question during the day in the fall, your days will likely include:
- Strolling The Strip
- Sipping on a PSL
- Checking out the coolest Sin City restaurants
- Shopping
- Checking out the Bellagio Conservatory’s Fall décor (don’t miss our Fall Guide on Instagram)
Easy layers are the way to go here. Throw the following in your suitcase for an easy fall outfit.
Comfortable Shirts
You can still wear short sleeves or sleeveless tops during the day in October. In November, consider wearing a long sleeve top to avoid wearing a jacket.
Easy Layers
Think oversized plaid shirts or a comfy cardigan you can throw around your waist during a daytime stroll down the strip.
Light Jacket
Leave your parkas at home but pack a lightweight jacket, especially if you’re visiting Vegas in late November.

What to Wear During the Night
Regardless of the weather, Vegas clubs and lounges still expect you to dress to impress. That means no sneakers or casual wear. Keep in mind this isn’t a suggestion or recommendation. Las Vegas clubs enforce a dress code at the entrance.
Here are a few go-picks that you can’t go wrong with.
Dresses & Skirts
These are always safe, and you shouldn’t be too cold yet in the evening. Make your look more fall-appropriate by incorporating browns, nudes, plaid, and shades of black.
Boots
Time to bust out the boots. Ankle booties or thigh-highs pair perfectly with dresses, skirts, and jeans.
Jeans
No outfit is easier than a pair of jeans and a cute crop top or bodysuit. You can dress this outfit up or down with shoes and accessories, depending on your evening plans.
